Grief Support & Pet Loss Counseling
Jennifer LeGree, Pet Loss Support Specialist
Jennifer is a Pet Loss Support Specialist who provides compassionate, non-clinical grief support to individuals and families coping with the loss or anticipated loss of a beloved animal companion. She offers an empathetic and supportive space where clients can feel emotionally safe, heard, and understood during an extremely difficult time.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (2015) and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (2017). She has over nine years of experience supporting individuals through grief, loss, and major life transitions, and has completed specialized training in pet loss and bereavement support.
Working in collaboration with veterinary teams, Jennifer offers short-term pet-loss support focused on emotional processing, validation, connection, and meaning-making following the death or anticipated passing of a pet. Her approach emphasizes building a genuine human connection while honoring the deep bond between people and their animals.
Jennifer’s services are supportive and educational in nature and do not include psychotherapy, diagnosis, or mental health treatment. When additional medical or mental health care is needed, she encourages clients to seek support from appropriate licensed providers.
